UQ Course: EDUC2740

Teaching Load Requirements:

• The first 2 to 3 days to be observation and settling into school environment and context, as well as planning and consulting with the Supervising Teacher(s) for future teaching.
• Towards end of Week 2 to start teaching segments of lessons (eg 10 mins or 15 mins, half a lesson, or even a full lesson - this might be the start of the lesson, the conclusion, a lesson quiz, discussion, group activity, reading groups, explaining a concept etc.
• Lesson segments to commence half way through the placement, and build to full lessons by the end of placement

Final Report: 

• NO Interim Report required
• EDUC2740 Final Report

IMPORTANT: Schools are required to give the fully signed reports to the Pre-Service Teacher. Schools do not have to return the report to UQ (or Facilitator), it is the Pre-Service Teacher responsibilty to upload their report to their UQ BlackBoard site.
