The Three Minute Thesis competition celebrates the exciting research conducted by PhD students. Developed by UQ, 3MT cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Yael Leibovitch, the runner-up of the all-UQ Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition in 2019, will talk about her experiences with the event, including her tips for preparing and presenting your thesis topic in three minutes. There are prizes to be won!
