Internship Opportunity : Language and Culture Assistants Program in Spain
The Spanish Government wants future generations of Spanish people to have a much
higher proficiency in English. The assistants play a key role in this by interacting with
the students in English and exposing them to different accents and different cultures.
This is the primary reason why we are now actively promoting this program in Australia.
The Spanish Ministry of Education offers new positions for Australian university
students or graduates, majoring in any subject, for the 2017-2018 school year.
The Program allows Australian assistants to have a paid teaching experience for one
school year (from October to May or June) in public schools (all ages) in Spain. They
will work under the supervision and guidance of a classroom teacher of English.
Preferred placement in different Spanish regions can be requested. No teaching
experience is required. Some knowledge of Spanish is recommended but not
The application period for the 2017-2018 school year is now open and closes on 18th
